I was extremely apprehensive about using a profession moving carrier for my relocation. Upon doing research on the industry I found nothing but horror stories. After speaking with East Coast Moving and Storage I felt comfortable and gave them a chance. I could not have been happier. My representative was with me every step of the way and the process was seamless. As promised my items arrived on time and in the same condition I had left them. Aside from the crew being an hour late to pick up my items, everything was great. I have been singing praises of this company to my friends and highly recommend them. In an industry that appears to be plagued by problems, they are the diamond in the rough. James, if you are reading this, Thank You for making the start of my new adventure so pleasurable!!
I had a very bad experience with these movers. Their customer service is too bad. They took close to 30 days for the delivery, which is way beyond the promised time frame of up to 14 days, and also charged about $500 more than quoted, saying stairs and more than 50 feet distance as the reason. The sales person gave a price quote which included stairs and up to 100 feet long carry but they still charged extra for that. You will not be able to reach the sales person once you pay the initial deposit. Delivery people do not care what East Coast has quoted you as they are a different company. Customer service people were very rude, they threatened me saying they will charge extra if I don't pay what the delivery people ask because they will take back the stuff and put it in a storage and charge for the storage and re-delivery. So you are forced to pay what they demand. It's been a mental trauma for me ever since my stuff has been picked up. Customer Service people give false delivery timelines whenever you call. They are not trustworthy.
I loved my move with East coast moving and storage. They showed up on time and got my furniture moved out of my house in 2 hrs. loaded the truck and delivered in within 5 days. All of my furniture was protected with no damages. Compared to my last move with a different company. They were excellent!!! no additional charges! very friendly and professional.

The customer service was excellent. The way the movers handled my personal belongings was prestige. They really took the time and effort to ensure the safety of my belongings. Would recommend this company to any of my friends, family, and co workers.
